Honesty is always the best policy
Last week’s news coverage of the UK Governments ‘party gate’ investigation confirms the theory that honesty is always the best policy.
You can query, nudge, look for signs of dissembling, uncertainty, listen to weasel words, ask outright, hold it up to the sun or bite into it, but it is hard to know if the item in front of you is the genuine article, or telling you what someone else wants you to believe.
We introduced Countermark exactly in the cause of honesty, we built in cryptographic formulas, blockchain, an easy-to-use app and tools like our Microsoft Word Add-in. All of this so that when you look at a document, whether it is an emailed invoice, a photo of someone’s qualifications or a certificate of compliance to the CE/UKCA standards you can scan it with the Countermark App and get the original document emailed to you.
It’s not just politicians.
AI rendering of documents that sound authoritative, or AI generated photos that look sort of real will shape the next phase of the internet.
Starting with Countermark, the tools to be certain about the who, where and when a document was created are available now.
If you are a writer, poet, musician, artist or 3d model creator that wants to enter the AI era with a way to prove your authorship at a point in time
